25 Best Paid Online Survey Sites To Join For Extra Money

How much money can I make with Paid Online Survey Companies?

Well, that depends. Not all survey companies and surveys offer the same payment. Some surveys pay $.50 and some pay $5 or even $30. Often, the pay depends on the length of the survey. The longer the survey, the higher the payment.

Do I have to pay to sign up?

NO. I have never seen a survey site that requires a payment in order to join their platform. I highly recommend NOT joining anything that requires a card or sign-up fee.

When/How do I get paid?

Each survey site will be different but many survey sites pay via paypal, check or through gift cards to places like Amazon, etc. Most sites require you to have a certain amount of money earned in your account before you can request payment. (For example Inbox Dollars will allow a payout when you hit $30 in your account).

All I have to do is take a survey to get paid?

Yup! However, most sites offer additional ways to make money like watching videos, opening emails, playing games, etc.

There are so many paid online survey sites out there. The more you join, the more surveys you do, the more money you make. It all just depends on how much time you’re willing to put in.

Most of these survey sites do use technology that can determine whether or not you are actually reading the questions and answering thoughtfully or not. They can, and will, ban you from their site if they feel you are just answering the questions without reading them.

Additionally, they will reward those who do answer questions honestly by offering more surveys (and maybe better quality surveys?).

Long story short, don’t sign up for these sites if you think you can just blast through the surveys without actually reading the questions. They will figure it out!

If you’re looking for some extra cash but using paid online survey sites doesn’t seem like it’s the right fit, there are tons of other side hustles out there!

Side hustles that bring in hundreds and even thousands per month

  • Virtual Assistant – The rate per hour for a VA can vary greatly, but most make roughly $15-$40 per hour. The great thing about being a virtual assistant is that you work remotely and can often make your own hours. A VA will typically take care of the small details for a business like making phone calls, replying to emails, creating pinterest pins, etc. It’s great for someone who has a great work ethic and doesn’t need a boss or manager hovering over them. VA positions can be found on sites like Flexjobs, Ziprecruiter, Craigslist, etc.

  • Start a blog – Starting a blog is a great way to earn an income. You can devote as much time into it as it fits your schedule and you can choose what you want to blog about. Is there something you’re passionate about? I can tell you from experience that writing and sharing about things that I love while making money doing it is a dream come true! I use Siteground as my host and highly recommend doing the same. I previously used another popular host and wasn’t happy with it at all.

  • Deliver groceries – For food delivery services you’l use your own method of transportation to shop and/or deliver groceries. Places like Instacart have opportunities for both in-store shoppers and full-service shoppers. Instacart drivers can earn up to $25/hour during busy times!

Did you know that you can get a grocery delivery job with Amazon? Yep! Choose when you want to work, shop in Whole Foods only and earn $15/hour or more.

A few other grocery delivery services available:

  • Post services on Fiverr – I’ve used Fiverr several times for small jobs that I needed done quickly and couldn’t do myself. For example, I needed an image photoshopped and photoshop is not my expertise. I hired someone on Fiverr and it fixed my image for $20. If you have a skill such as photoshop, lightroom, coding, graphic design (basically ANYTHING), you can list your services on Fiverr. It is a really great way to make money, especially if you have a technical skill.

  • Drive for Uber or Lyft – Driving jobs are great because you can work when it’s convenient for you. Simply toggling your availability on or off in the app puts you on-duty or off-duty. The average Uber driver in NJ makes roughly $18-$19/hour and some cities earn over $20/hour.

  • Tutor – Online tutoring is another great job if you want to set your own schedule. At VIPKID teachers earn anywhere from $15-$22/hour.

  • Sell on Poshmark – I think you’d be surprised at how much you can make on Poshmark. You probably have tons of things right in your own home that you don’t use and could sell. There are even Poshmark sellers who go thrifting and then resell on Poshmark for a profit! Poshmark makes selling items very simple and it only takes a few minutes to list your items for sale.

  • Create your own product – A little more creativity will be required for this one, but passive income is the best kind. Do you have knowledge on a subject people are frequently curious about?

There are so many different types of products you can create from physical products like t-shirts and jewelry to digital products like e-books and courses. If you have a physical product to sell (or even digital) Etsy is great. Teachable is great for courses!

There are tons of great side hustles for making money these days. Think about what you really love to do and set out to find something that makes you happy….and makes you money!
