Most of us are stuck home right now due to COVID-19. Like many, my husband and I have been missing our date nights. We don’t get them a whole lot because of the kids but boy, we sure do miss them.
So what are some good ideas for date night? I’ve come up with 19 at home date night ideas that won’t break the bank!

Even once quarantine ends, these at home date night ideas are still fun! Maybe you’re new parents and just want to have a mini date night when you put the baby to sleep. 1.) Have a movie night – If you’re a fan of the classic movie night there are TONS of great movies available on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. We like to use Amazon Video a lot because the options are almost endless, plus you can stream anywhere. Grab a popcorn maker and you’re set!

3.) Make Cocktails – If you download the DrinkAR app, you can learn how to make EASY cocktails in your kitchen! Neither of us knows how to make drinks so this was a fun way to not screw it up. The ingredients were minimal and the sangria we made was DELICIOUS.
Here’s the simple recipe we used to create our white sangria:
- 6 strawberries
- 2 peaches
- 1/2 of an orange
- Orange Liqueur
We let it sit overnight and had it the next day. It was out of this world! I highly recommend giving this recipe a try.
4.) Have a picnic – At home date nights don’t have to be fancy. Have dinner under the stars at night or even just grab some coffee and snacks for some mid-day fun. If you want to bring wine out on your picnic, check out these silicone wine glasses. They’re unbreakable, silicone-free, and dishwasher safe.
