Let’s face it. Finding the best affordable jeans with the perfect fit is HARD. As someone who has a long torso AND straddles the line of wearing petite/regular sizes because of my height, I can say from experience that shopping for jeans is hardly ever fun. Actually, I dread it.
However, jeans are also one of the best closet staples, IF you can find that perfect pair. Want to dress up? Jeans and stilettos. Want to dress down? Jeans and sneakers. Want to be somewhere in the middle? Jeans and a pretty blouse. The options with jeans are almost endless.
Today I wanted to share some of the best affordable jeans I’ve found that are not only great quality but also work well for many occasions.
10 Best Affordable Jeans For Women Under $80
When it comes to finding jeans, it seems like there are a million options. What rise suits your body best? High-rise, low-rise, mid-rise? Do you prefer light, medium, or dark wash? And let’s not forget the choices in cut such as skinny, boot-cut, straight, etc. No wonder it’s so hard to find the perfect pair.
Additionally, some jeans are $35 while others are $200. Is there that much of a difference in the quality? I guess that’s a matter of opinion, but I haven’t found that to be the case.
I love shopping just as much as the next girl but I definitely don’t feel the need to spend hundreds of dollars on something I’m sure I could get cheaper elsewhere.
If you follow me over on Instagram you know that affordable fashion is sort of my thing. So, I thought it would be helpful to round up some of the absolute best affordable jeans in one convenient spot to make shopping a bit easier for you.

If you haven’t shopped Walmart fashion let me tell you, you are missing out. I got 2 pairs of jeans from Walmart this year and both are already a part of my regular rotation. Sofia Vergara’s line is my favorite for denim at Walmart, but they do carry many other brands as well.
This particular pair has 912 reviews with an average 4.4-star rating. Best part? They’re only $16.94! If you’re looking for cheap high-waisted jeans online, these are it. They’re available in 4 washes in sizes 0 to 18 and are available for next-day delivery.

I love me some skinny jeans. This pair is available in sizes 0-15 and comes in 6 washes. They qualify for free shipping and free returns and you can also pay with installments instead of all upfront.
Buyers note that they’re comfortable and the perfect length.
So, where is the best place to get cheap jeans?
Here is the list broken down by retailer:
- Old Navy
- American Eagle
- Abercrombie & Fitch
- American Eagle
My personal favorite on the list is Abercrombie. I love that they offer all different lengths in ALL their jeans. They almost always have a sale running as well.
Amazon is just the king when it comes to shopping in general. If you haven’t taken a look at Amazon fashion lately, I suggest checking it out. There is a lot of fast-fashion and Chinese sellers but there are also tons of name brands at way better prices than you’d find from another retailer. Perfect example – both Levi’s above.
American Eagle jeans are great because of their wide variety of styles and fits. Since I have the world’s longest torso I love that they offer “super high waisted” styles. These are pretty hard to find at other retailers.
Additionally, American Eagle is almost always running a sale. This is one of the retailers where I tend to have good luck with denim. However, I do have to size up in their jeans.
What is a reasonable price for jeans?
This is totally a personal opinion. I don’t think I would ever spend over $75 on a pair but, if I came across one that was just a dream, I might consider it. To date, I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than that on one pair.
Are cheap jeans good?
This depends on the brand. Some of my absolute favorite pairs of jeans are from Walmart. Check out these 2 pairs I recently purchased from the Sofia Vergara line.
I can honestly say these jeans are amazing. They’re of great quality and the prices are SO low. It definitely makes me question whether the price tag of designer pairs is ever worth the splurge.
These cropped flare jeans are currently $19 and the white frayed jeans are $26. I don’t think you’ll have much luck finding cute jeans cheaper than this.
What jeans are in for 2020?
This year, boyfriend jeans and mom jeans have seemed to take the place of skinny jeans. If you’re looking for cheap mom jeans, American Eagle is the place to look. The pair below is highly rated and under $50 and frequently goes on sale at 40% off. Currently, they’re on sale for $29.99
These mom jeans are made of lightweight denim with moderate stretch and sit at the natural waist. 265 reviewers gave them a 5-star rating.
They’re available in sizes 00 to 24 and in short, regular, and long lengths.
Made of super-soft, lightweight denim, these jeans are made with comfort in mind. It also has more room through the hip and thigh with a 13″ hip vs. waist measurement.
This pair has a moderate stretch and is made of 99% cotton for comfort. At $44.99 I’d definitely consider them cheap boyfriend jeans compared to other brands. This brand also runs regular sales with up to 30% and 40% off so if you keep your eyes peeled you can get them for even less.
Additional Brands With Affordable Jeans
While none of the brands below have jeans that made the top 10, that doesn’t mean they don’t have great items. One of my all-time favorite pairs of jeans is from Topshop. The only reason Topshop didn’t make the list above is simply that I couldn’t find ENOUGH reviews on the websites they’re sold.
Here are a few additional brands with cute cheap jeans that are definitely worth looking into.
Topshop – Topshop is a British fashion retailer with over 500 locations around the world. They’re known for their trendy and cutting edge styles. Aside from their website you can find their items online and in-store at retailers like Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack.
As mentioned earlier, one of my all-time favorite pairs of jeans is from TopShop. I’ve had them for years and they are always a go-to of mine for both comfort and quality. They’re almost always a trending product on the TopShop site and tend to sell out fairly quickly, though they do restock often.
Asos – Asos is another trendsetting powerhouse. They also didn’t make the list simply because their site doesn’t show reviews. I would be shocked if they didn’t have a few pairs that were highly coveted.
You can see here that Asos has jeans ranging from $6 up to $295. This is because they do carry some designer brands. However, there are a TON of options under $50.
Uniqlo – Uniqlo is popular for its incredibly affordable prices on not just jeans but also dresses, activewear, swimwear, and much more. All the jeans that are currently on the Uniqlo site are under $40. Each new customer gets free shipping on their first order.
Boohoo – Boohoo got it’s start in 2006 and offers everything from inexpensive denim to two-piece sets, activewear, shoes, accessories, and more at extremely competitive prices. On top of their already incredibly low prices, they’re almost always running a sale. Currently, you can snag jeans for only $12.
Another cool thing about shopping the Boohoo site is that you can sort the results by occasion such as “going out” or “casual”.
So that’s it for this list of the best affordable jeans for women under $80! As you can tell, most are well under $80 with only 2 being even remotely close to that number.
Hopefully, you found something you love. If there is another pair of affordable jeans you recommend that isn’t listed here, feel free to drop a comment below.
