The jacket you need for spring : ON SALE!

Since it’s just about time to stuff the puffers and parkas away for the year I figured I’d share my favorite new jacket for spring.

I stumbled about this jacket and knew I needed it! Do I say that a lot? Well, I did!

Since spring weather in NJ is so unpredictable it’s always good to have options when it comes to your outerwear. I needed a jacket that wasn’t too heavy but was still thick enough for the harsh winds we often have.

I scored this jacket on sale for $41.40! It’s currently 40% off and I highly suggest you go grab yourself one as well! This jacket is so versatile it can easily be paired with jeans and a tee or a cute t-shirt dress. It has deep button pockets and the fit is perfect. I often have trouble with sleeves being too tight in jackets in this material {heavy lifting problems – insert crying/laughing emoji} but this one is just right.

Originally I bought this criss-cross tee in only gray. Now I have it in grey, pink and black because it’s so soft, such a a great updated staple and it’s under $30! I love wearing tees especially under a light jacket in spring but sometimes a basic tee feels so sloppy. I love that I can still wear these and be comfortable yet still look put together. With two toddlers I’m usually carting them around to activities so casual attire is what I’m in 90% of the time!

These booties are SO comfortable. It only took one wear to break them in so I’m glad I kept them! The heel isn’t too high and the peep-toe doesn’t rub (which I find often). They’re only $44.94 but if you wait to purchase them during one of the 30% or 40% off sales they often have thats even better! If you just can’t wait to purchase don’t forget to at least go through ebates to get an additional 2% off.

Fun Fact: I love makeup but I have no flipping clue what I’m doing when it comes to applying. Maybe I’m doing it right but maybe I’m not LOL. I just apply and hope for the best. I love to follow Make Me Up Eva especially on facebook because she is SO GOOD at what she does. Eva did my makeup once for a wedding and now she’s my go-to beauty guru. I’m constantly asking her what lashes she uses and what lip colors shes loving. The lipstick above is one that I found from Eva and it’s Mac’s Mangrove. I bought it with the intentions of wearing it while tan in the summer but I couldn’t wait that long. Side Note: I desperately need to bleach my teeth (thanks a lot coffee). I’ll be using yet another product Eva recommended so stay tuned for the post!

This Scallop Tote is going to come in handy as the weather gets warmer and we’re constantly outside and on the go. It comes in 4 colors and of course now that I realize that – I want the blue, too! It’s large enough to fit all the stuff for the kids but not so big that it feels like a suitcase. It has a smaller zipper bag on the inside thats perfect for the little important things. like lipstick. or your license? 🙂

My husband is such a goofball. He takes all my pics and literally makes me laugh or question what on earth he is doing the entire time. It makes for funny (and often hideous) pictures but this one I just had to add. My jeans are from american eagle last year and I still wear them ALL the time. The fit is perfect and I even love them cuffed!

These are the same $12 sunglasses from my last post you can find here. I don’t wear aviators often because they get stuck in my hair (whether an expensive designer pair or cheapies). These are pretty solid though, are super affordable and I love the color!
