While I love to get dressed up and decked out from time to time, there is nothing like being comfortable. With 3 little kids and a career that has me working from home, I tend to find myself in loungewear quite often.

But long gone are the days where loungewear was an oversized tee or sweatshirt with a frumpy pair of pants. While there’s nothing wrong with that, I personally FEEL better when I’m a bit more put together and I think a lot of people can relate! Since I work from home I need to keep myself motivated and getting myself put together every day is definitely a big help.

Since I’m also home with our kids a lot I tend to gravitate towards comfortable items. Realistically, I find myself chasing after our little guy all day while shuffling between school pick up and extracurricular activities. While I don’t feel the need to get overly dressed up for stuff like that, I also don’t want to look like a hot mess.

I was recently introduced to Cuddl Duds and honestly, I’m really impressed. Not only do they make incredibly comfortable layering pieces, but they also have pieces that are multi-functional. The blazer/cardigan in the 2 outfits I’m sharing today helps easily turn loungewear into casual wear, getting you more bang for your buck and keeping you fashionable while still comfortable.

Here are 2 easy ways to style this blazer to go from lounging around the house to date night and anywhere in between!

Loungewear Turned Casual Wear: Outfit #1

In this first outfit I’m wearing the camo Cuddle Duds Fleecewear With Stretch Cardigan/Blazer as part of a comfy at-home outfit. It’s QVC’s TSV (Today’s Special Value) TODAY October 21st and you can grab it until 11:59 PM (EST) for only $29.98! It’s the perfect piece for heading into the colder months and the relaxed fit makes it easy to layer. Here in NJ we get FREEZING cold winters so finding pieces that really keep you warm is a must. I love the camo style but if that’s not your thing it also comes in 5 other options. It’s super soft, has a button closure, pockets and THUMB-HOLES! I don’t know why but there is just something I love about them. Since getting this blazer my 6 year old daughter has been asking when she’s going to get a super soft shirt with thumb-holes, too LOL. I guess it’s just something that makes everyone feel cozy!

These Fleecewear With Stretch Leggings are also incredibly soft! I love that they have stretch to them and because they’re made of soft fleece they’re extremely comfortable. The waistband isn’t restricting and they’re really flattering unlike so many other loungewear pieces I’ve tried. They hug your body just enough and with the stretchy fit they’re easy to move around in. These could easily be worn out to run errands, take kids to sports, etc. I know black is always the staple color for leggings but if you like to change it up these also come in a bunch of other colors

PS – I’m 5’4″ and the leggings hit me just at the ankle. You can check out my try-on over on insta-stories to get a live look at how they fit!

If you’ve been on the hunt for long-enough-for-leggings tops, the one I’m wearing above is perfect. I don’t know about you but I like when the bum is covered when I’m wearing leggings. I have a long torso and this Softwear With Stretch long-sleeve top is still long enough in the front and back. It’s also made with spandex so it has a stretch to it and… it also has thumbholes 🙂

Outfit #2

Ok so same blazer, same comfort, STYLED TOTALLY DIFFERENT! You know I couldn’t resist grabbing this blazer in leopard and I am sooooo glad I didn’t pass it up. I am IN LOVE with this top! Aside from the fact that it’s insanely comfortable like I mentioned above, it’s also so chic!! Would you have ever guessed it doubles as loungewear?! I love pieces that are multi-functional. Not only does it save me time and money but it also makes my life just THAT much easier. If you’ve ever considered widdling down to a capsule wardrobe, this is hands down a piece that would fit in perfectly.

And if you love fashion you know that not all leopard pieces are created equal. The colors in this blazer are absolutely perfect and you could style this so many different ways. While I love it paired with leggings and a simple tank I could totally see it over a bodycon dress with over the knee boots or even just with jeans and a tee. Really, the options are endless.

Another great thing about Cuddl Duds is that their pieces are meant to fit every shape and body. Whether you’re an XS or a 3X, Cuddl Duds has pieces to keep you feel comfortable all day long.

If you’ve never shopped QVC before, today is the day! I promise, these Cuddl Dud pieces will not disappoint. On a side note, my sister took some of these pics for me. She had never worn Cuddl Duds before and couldn’t believe that not only was my blazer fleece but my leggings as well. Maybe it’s because we freeze our buns off here in NJ in the winter but I think she’s hooked now, too!
