1 Ruched Dress, 3 Ways!

1 dress 3 ways - 1 Ruched Dress, 3 Ways by popular New Jersey style blogger Fit Mommy in HeelsIf you want a stylish AND affordable wardrobe you’ll need to stock up on pieces that you can wear over and over again while still making them look different. Enter the sleeveless ruched dress. In this post I’m going to share with you how I styled this 1 dress, 3 ways!

Originally I purchased this ruched dress in the long-sleeve version. I loved it so much that I decided I had to have it for the spring and summer months, too. It’s so comfy and comes in 5 colors!

  1. Ruched Dress layered with a chunky cableknit sweater. This dress is the perfect transitional piece for fall or spring. The material is super light and breathable but it pairs perfectly with a sweater for when it starts to cool off. I paired it here with lace-up booties but it can easily be worn with closed-toe booties or OTK boots (like I did here!) on cooler days.

These booties are one of my new favorites! I got them during the BOGO 1/2 off sale. They go with just about everything!

2. Casual ruched dress with sneakers and a flannel.

I love getting dressed up but most of the time I’m carpooling to gymnastics and dance or heading to the park with the kids. This dress makes it easy to look presentable and put together while still being really comfy! I paired it here with my low cut chucks and tied a flannel (similar) around the waist for a laid-back look.

I did iron this dress before I wore it but it seems like it wrinkles pretty easy. All I did was sit in the car and you can see the wrinkles across the front. That would be my only complaint if you consider that a big deal! I still love it, wrinkles and all 🙂

I’ve had these Tory Burch Sunglasses for awhile but you can find a similar pair here and a much more budget-friendly option (under $20!) here.

3. Ruched DressWith a statement necklace and wedges.

This dress can easily be dressed up for date night or a fun night on the town. I paired it with a long mint necklace and wedges for some shopping and dinner at Cubacan last weekend. I bought so many lace-up sandals this season but this wedge pair is definitely on the top of the comfortable list. The sole is so soft and even though the wedge is pretty high they somehow feel great!

The sunglasses I’m wearing in this last photo are the ones you guys see me wear ALL THE TIME. They’re currently unavailable in this exact color and style but these are super similar and are only $14! You can see the marks on my feet here from the laces on the last booties lol!

Do you have any dresses or pieces that you love to mix and match?  I’d love to see some ways you incorporate your favorite pieces into different outfits.
