Welcome! My name is Lauren and I am wife to Mike, mommy to Gia, Michael & Anthony.
Along with being a wife and mother, I’m also a fitness professional and competitor. I enjoy sharing workouts, fitness tips, tricks and advice. I’m also just like a lot of women and LOVE to shop! I frequently share affordable fashion finds, the latest sales and dupes! While I don’t claim to be perfect at this parenting thing I also love to share our crazy life with 3 kids 5 and under, trips we take and everything in between!
How long have you been a personal trainer?
I’ve been a group fitness instructor and personal trainer since 2010 but I’ve been in the fitness world my whole life. I grew up going to the gyms my parents owned/worked at and had my own gym membership since I was old enough to drive myself there!
How long have you been blogging?
I started this blog in December of 2016. I wasn’t exactly sure what my goal was but I knew I wanted to give it a go. I’ve learned SO MUCH in the last year and have just taken my blog where life has taken me – through fitness competitions, changes in personal style, parenting, pregnancy, etc.
Who takes your photos?
Right now my husband takes them (sometimes I take them myself!) because timing is my main issue. With 3 young children we often just take photos in batches when the time is right!

What advice do you have for new bloggers?
There is a lot that goes into creating and maintaining a good blog. However, if I had to give my most important pieces of advice it would be this:
- Define your target audience. Is it stay at home moms? Women looking to get into shape? You need to have a clear idea of what your readers want from you so that you know what content you need to provide.
- Don’t half-ass it. Take the time to get quality photos, edit them to fit your aesthetic and provide VALUE to your readers so they come back for more.
- Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. While it’s important to grow your following on instagram it’s not good to spend ALL your time on that one platform. Learn about all the benefits other platforms provide. One of my favorites? Pinterest. There is a lot to learn and growth doesn’t happen overnight. But set aside some time to learn and I promise you’ll make progress!
